Adelsbury Returns to White Tigers
Centre-back Ben Adelsbury has re-joined Truro City, becoming the first new summer recruit by the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club to date.

The 30-year-old returns to the White Tigers from former league rivals Taunton Town, who he helped to win the Premier Division South title last season.

 

He had signed for the Peacocks from Truro in the summer of 2017 and went on to make 171 appearances and score 18 goals.

 

After being on youth forms at both Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City, he joined Salisbury City for two and a half years in 2009.

 

He had a brief spell at Truro which was followed by nine months at Eastbourne Borough before returning to the West Country and signing for Bath City in June 2013 and then later re-joining Truro in February 2016.

 

He was voted joint winner of the players’ player award for 2017/18.
