Experienced Striker Joins `Sedge
Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division newcomers Liversedge have made vastly experienced striker James Walshaw their first summer recruit.

The 38-year-old joins from former NPL Division One East rivals Ossett United.

 

He had signed for Ossett in May 2021 from then-NPL Premier Division side Buxton where he had been since July 2020 after arriving from league rivals Scarborough Athletic.

 

Prior to his move to Scarborough in November 2017, he led the way in the scoring charts for the NPL with 20 league goals for Farsley Celtic.

 

He picked up the `golden boot` for the NPL Premier, despite only playing up until November in the league, for Farsley during 2017/18.

 

A fan favourite and intelligent footballer, he has previously played with Darlington in the Football League, as well as spells with Guiseley AFC, Halifax Town, Harrogate Town, and Shaw Lane AFC prior to his move to Throstle Nest in June 2016.
