The latest to check into Bolitho Park is highly rated defender Tyler Ashmead.

The 23-year-old has shown his commitment to the Parkway cause by agreeing to travel from Bristol to play.

A former Bristol Manor Farm and Yate Town player, he first came to Parkway’s attention when playing against them for Clevedon Town in the Toolstation Western League.

Parkway boss Lee Hobbs told his club’s website: “I’ve been a big admirer of Tyler from the day he ran us ragged for Clevedon Town in the Western League a few seasons ago.

“He’s an energetic right back very similar to Laney on the other side who gets up and down all game which I demand from my full backs and is critical to the way we play. I’ve followed his journey up through the leagues and for him to be Bristol Based and want to commit to Plymouth Parkway, that tells you all you need to know about the lad.

“I’ve got high hopes for Tyler and his work-rate and style of play will quickly get noticed by the fans who will no doubt get right behind him".
