The experienced 29-year-old joined Billericay in January 2022 from another league rival, Hampton & Richmond Borough, but couldn’t prevent the Essex outfit from being relegated.

Muir had joined the Beavers in the summer of 2020 having been on loan during the latter part of the 2019/20 season from then-National League side Hartlepool United, who paid an undisclosed fee to Hendon when they won the race for his signature in the summer of 2018.

He struck 40 goals in all competitions for the Greens during 2017/18 and became a target for a number of clubs before Pools completed their move.

A strong and powerful front man, he has been a reliable source of goals for a number of clubs on the non-League scene, including Grays Athletic, Wingate & Finchley, VCD Athletic and Leiston.
