The
Watford-born forward had been with Exeter since joining the academy’s under-9s.
He
signed his first professional contract in April 2017 and spent loan spells with
Weston-super-Mare, Bideford AFC, Gloucester City and Dorchester Town, before
making his first-team debut for the Grecians in an EFL Cup tie against Coventry
City in August 2019.
He
went on to make 71 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals.
He
had further loan spells with Yeovil Town and, most recently, Vanarama National
League South side Bath City.
Parkway
boss Lee Hobbs told his club’s website: “What a coup Ben Seymour is for us.
It’s a huge statement of intent from us that we aren’t just here to make up the
numbers in this Division and it also shows how far we have come as a football
club to be able to attract a player of Ben’s quality.
“I
had to work hard to get Ben in and he’s bought into the project and hopefully
he has a huge impact in getting us out of the league and into the National
South”. |
