Manager
Jimmy Dean has brought goalkeeper Peter Crook to the Bee Arena on a more
permanent basis from new league rivals Boston United.
The
28-year-old was one of the heroes of the Turbines` play-off success last season
after joining on loan from the Pilgrims.
Crook (pictured) had signed for Boston from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division
side Hyde United in May 2019.
He
gained considerable Step 2 experience during his time at Harrogate Town and
linked up with the Pilgrims following an impressive campaign with the Tigers.
An
outstanding keeper who earned an England C call up and had a trial at Burnley
prior to the 2017/18 season.
Dean’s
second new arrival is youngster Connor Peters.
The
19-year-old makes the short journey from SkyBet League One neighbours
Peterborough United.
The
centre-back was a first-year professional at London Road and spent 11 years with
Posh before being released in the summer.
Peters
gained some valuable non-League experience last season with Northern Premier League
Division One Midlands side Yaxley and is an outstanding local prospect.
