The 23-year-old came through the junior ranks at Sheffield United.

After a short spell with Toolstation Northern Counties East outfit Hallam, he moved to Sheffield FC and represented England C in Dublin in the summer of 2018 after originally being part of the contingency squad.

After trialling at Harrogate Town and FC United of Manchester, he joined then-Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton in August 2018.

He represented England C again in Estonia in May 2019 and transferred to then-National League outfit King`s Lynn Town in March 2020.

He is joined at the Jakeman’s Stadium by former Kettering team-mate, forward Jordon Crawford.

A locally born 25-year-old forward initially joined Northern Premier Division One Midlands side Corby Town from Stewarts & Lloyds as a 17-year-old in 2014.

He made 9 first-team appearances in 2014/15 and then spent the following season with Harborough Town.

He returned to the Steelmen in the summer of 2016 and was a regular member of the starting XI and in 2018/19 he notched 17 goals.

He transferred to neighbours Kettering in May 2021 – also signed by Cox.
