Left-sided
defender Alex Brown (pictured) was signed for the Poppies in September 2021 by current
Boston boss Paul Cox.
The
23-year-old came through the junior ranks at Sheffield United.
After
a short spell with Toolstation Northern Counties East outfit Hallam, he moved
to Sheffield FC and represented England C in Dublin in the summer of 2018 after
originally being part of the contingency squad.
After
trialling at Harrogate Town and FC United of Manchester, he joined then-Northern
Premier League Premier Division side Buxton in August 2018.
He
represented England C again in Estonia in May 2019 and transferred to then-National
League outfit King`s Lynn Town in March 2020.
He
is joined at the Jakeman’s Stadium by former Kettering team-mate, forward
Jordon Crawford.
A
locally born 25-year-old forward initially joined Northern Premier Division One
Midlands side Corby Town from Stewarts & Lloyds as a 17-year-old in 2014.
He
made 9 first-team appearances in 2014/15 and then spent the following season
with Harborough Town.
He
returned to the Steelmen in the summer of 2016 and was a regular member of the
starting XI and in 2018/19 he notched 17 goals.
He
transferred to neighbours Kettering in May 2021 – also signed by Cox. |
