The 33-year-old started his career at Worcester City and has also played for Macclesfield Town, Stevenage and Sheffield United.

Brought in from Forest Green Rovers by then-Wrexham boss Dean Keates the previous summer, he played a key role as the Dragons challenged for promotion and penned a new deal in February 2018 to keep him at The Racecourse for the 2018/19 campaign.

But he said the commute for training from his Sheffield home had become a burden and the club agreed for him to move on.

He joined Chesterfield in May 2018 from National League rivals Wrexham and then moved to Northern Premier club Buxton in July 2020 before joining rivals Stalybridge Celtic in May 2021.
