The 30-year-old defender or midfielder had joined the Bluebells in December 2020 from Bristol Manor Farm.

He had been with Farm since early December 2017 after joining from Southern Division One South rivals Larkhall Athletic.

He has also played for Cardiff University, Bridgwater Town, Tiverton Town, Merthyr Town, Clevedon Town and Hallen so he has plenty of experience at Southern League level.

Manager Danny Greaves told his club’s website: "To secure a player of Jamie’s experience and calibre following a very successful season in the league above with Yate Town is pleasing.

“Jamie captained the Yate side who finished just outside the play-off places in the Southern Premier and also reached the FA Cup First Round. He was also voted as players` player of the year which shows how well regarded he was at the club.

“We are getting ourselves a leader, and lad who will work his socks off and run all day, and one with ability who will chip in with a goal or two".
