Collinge Remains in National League With Barnet
Vanarama National League club Barnet have announced the signing of Danny Collinge.

The 24-year-old central defender joins following the expiry of his contract at relegated Dover Athletic.

 

Collinge started out at MK Dons’ academy where his impressive form earned him a place in England’s under-18 team.

 

He made over 30 England Youth appearances and featured in the Under-17 European Championship as well as the Under-17 World Cup.

 

He signed for Colchester United in 2019 following five years in Germany with VfB Stuttgart in Bundesliga II.

 

Whilst with the U’s, Collinge picked up senior experience with Pitching In Isthmian League North Division sides Maldon & Tiptree and AFC Sudbury.

 

Barnet head coach Dean Brennan told https://www.barnetfc.com: “We have monitored Danny’s progress for a long time and we are really happy to sign him here.

 

“He is a very strong, technical defender and will add a lot of quality to the squad”.
