Vastly
experienced midfielder James Rogers moves to Invicta from Isthmian League South
East Division neighbours Hythe Town.
He
had joined the Cannons in September 2019 after being with Folkestone’s league
rivals Margate and took over as player-manager in November 2021 until the end
of the season.
The
37-year-old has had two spells with Dover Athletic and with Margate, returning
to Hartsdown Park in February 2017 from Vanarama National League side Maidstone
United.
He
had a six-year spell with Dover between 2004 and 2010, making almost 200 appearances,
and his first stint with Gate came in 2010/11.
He
moved to Dartford in 2011, back to Dover in 2013, adding 43 appearances to his
Whites` tally, and then to Maidstone a year later.
Also
moving to the south Kent coast is goalkeeper Bailey Vose (pictured).
The
24-year-old arrives from league rivals Cray Wanderers.
He
had joined the Wands in December 2021 from National League South side
Billericay Town, where he had been since joining from Margate in the summer of
2021.
He
started his career with the youth sides at Brighton & Hove Albion, from
where he went on loan to Concord Rangers, Eastbourne Borough and Welling
United.
He
moved to Colchester United, and whilst there spent time at Dartford on loan
before the move to Margate in August 2020. |
