Dickens is a competitive centre midfielder who is very comfortable on the ball.

He played in the Cleethorpes that narrowly missed out on promotion last season due to a points deduction and horrendous fixture backlog.

He also played at Wembley in the Cleethorpes team that lost to South Shields in the Buildbase FA Vase and numbers Gainsborough Trinity, Brigg Town and Grantham Town amongst his other previous clubs.

Manager Sam Wilkinson told his club`s website: "I'm delighted Liam has agreed to come to Lincoln United.

"The squad is quite thin and I knew I needed a couple of more players.

"When he became available I jumped at the chance to speak to him.

"It's another good addition to the squad adding more depth and quality".
