He has raided league rivals Thame United for Ryan Blake, Lynton Goss and Craig Hill and added Tom Silford from another rival, AFC Dunstable and Lorrell Smith from Southern Premier Division Central outfit AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

Blake, who turns 31 next week, had joined the Red Kites in September 2019 from Chesham United.

He had re-joined the Generals in 2018 after a season at Enfield Town.

In his previous three-year spell at Chesham, he scored 52 goals in 162 games, including the winner in the club’s famous FA Cup triumph over Bristol Rovers.

His other previous clubs include Tring Athletic, Burnham, Beaconsfield SYCOB, Hayes & Yeading United and Hemel Hempstead Town.

Goss, 27, is a forward who returned to Thame for his second spell in the 2018/19 season from Harrow Borough, having signed for Boro in June 2018 from Thame where he had been a prolific in 2016/17 and 2017/18, netting 86 goals in 90 games.

He was previously with Chesham United, Aylesbury FC and Winslow United.

Hill is a highly rated 27-year-old goalkeeper who re-joined Thame in December 2020.

He had switched to Corby Town from Thame in February 2020.

He had originally signed for the Red Kites from Oxford City in 2017 and was previously with Aston Villa and Kettering Town, where he was a regular in 2015/16.

Silford(pictured)  is a left-back who re-joins Berko from league rivals AFC Dunstable, for whom he made 20 appearances and scored 2 goals last season after returning from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Leighton Town.

The 27-year-old started out with the OD’s before embarking on his travels to Bedford FC, London Colney, Welwyn Garden City, Leverstock Green, Crawley Green and Berkhamsted, for whom he made 4 appearances in 2019/19.

He re-joined Leighton in 2018 before moving back to Creasey Park for a fourth time.

Smith, 27, had been with Diamonds since August 2020.

He joined Vanarama National League North side Brackley Town in December 2019 from then-Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Biggleswade United where he remained dual registered.

He started out with another SSML outfit, Arlesey Town, and then played in the Southern Division One Central with AFC Dunstable and Barton Rovers. However, it was after joining Leighton Town, who had been relegated to the SSML, in 2016 that his footballing career really took off, scoring over 30 goals in two seasons at Bell Close.

He returned to Arlesey in the summer of 2018 and finished as top scorer with 19 goals before moving to Biggleswade in the summer of 2019, scoring 19 goals in 28 games in 2019/20 both before and after joining Brackley, returning to his former club on dual registration.
