Tempest Becomes a New Nailer
Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division newcomers Belper Town have signed experienced midfielder Greg Tempest.

The 28-year-old former Northern Ireland under-21 international made 16 appearances for Notts County between 2012 and 2015 before moving to Lincoln City after loan spells with Ilkeston and Boston United.

 

He then played for Nuneaton Borough and at Gainsborough Trinity on loan, signing for Basford United during the summer of 2018.

 

He left for Northern Premier rivals Matlock Town in January 2019 before switching to another NPL Premier outfit, Grantham Town, in May 2019.

 

In the summer of 2020, he joined United Counties League side Gedling Miners Welfare.
