The 22-year-old (pictured) signed for Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Daventry Town in February 2020, then to Southern Premier Division Central outfit St Ives Town in the summer of 2020 and to then-National League King`s Lynn Town a year later, although he spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Dover Athletic.

He hit the headlines back in October 2010 when Premier League giants Chelsea signed the then-11-year-old striker from League Two Northampton Town for a substantial undisclosed fee.

He was playing for the Cobblers under-11s and had been with the club’s centre of excellence for the previous three years.

As is often the case with lads of that age, things didn`t go as well as expected and the 20-year-old went on to play non-League football for the likes of Barton Rovers, Crawley Green and Bedford Town.

He joined Isthmian North outfit Coggeshall Town in August 2019 and scored 2 goals in 13 games before moving to league rivals Cambridge City in November, making 8 appearances before switching to Daventry.

Also joining the Spireites is young full back Bailey Clements.

He will move to Chesterfield following the expiration of his contract at League One side Ipswich Town on July 1st.

The 21-year-old spent 14 years at boyhood club Ipswich and once again links up with manager Paul Cook and Gary Roberts.

Cook gave Clements his first taste of League football, appearing 8 times for the Tractor Boys in the 2021/22 season.

He also had a few loan spells at Hemel Hempstead Town, Dagenham & Redbridge and most recently at League Two side Stevenage.
