There's Now a Gayle at Folkestone!

Busy Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division club Folkestone Invicta have made experienced defender Ian Gayle their latest new recruit.

The 29-year-old powerful centre-half joins Invicta having spent the second half last season on dual registration with Isthmian South East side Cray Valley PM from Vanarama National League South outfit Eastbourne Borough.

He has plenty of experience of non-League football having also featured for both Braintree Town and Welling United following his departure from boyhood club Dagenham & Redbridge in 2016.

He racked up close to 200 career appearances before joining Woking from Wealdstone in June 2018 having also enjoyed loan spells with the likes of Whitehawk, St Albans City and Bishop's Stortford.

He moved to Eastbourne in August 2019.
