Howes
was named Horsham’s players’ player of the season for the last campaign and
joins the Stones on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
The
24-year-old joined the Hornets in June 2021 from then-National League South
side Dorking Wanderers where he had been since July 2020 after arriving from
National League side Woking.
He
had signed for Woking in July 2019 from Premier League Watford.
A
product of the West Ham United academy, he signed his first professional contract
for the Hammers in 2015.
Later
that year, he made 5 appearances on loan at Wealdstone before returning to East
London.
As
he moved through the age groups with the Hammers, he was capped by England in
every age range from under-16’s to under-19’s.
He
spent from January to May 2017 on loan to Hampton & Richmond Borough and
then left West Ham for Watford in the summer of 2017.
In
2018/19 he was on loan at another National League South outfit, Eastbourne
Borough. |
