Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division new boys club Liversedge have signed striker Iren Wilson and winger Shiraz Khan.

Wilson (pictured) joins Sedge from Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One champions Hallam.

 

He scored 23 goals for the Countrymen last season.

 

He was on Sheffield Wednesday’s books as a youngster.

 

Khan was most recently with league rivals Brighouse Town where he featured in 28 games for the club and scored 7 goals.

 

The 24-year-old had moved to Brighouse in June 2019 from another league rival, Ossett United.

 

He was a key member of the Ossett side that finished in the play-off positions in 2018/19 and also won the West Riding County Cup with the Ingfield club.

 

He started out with Bradford City’s academy before joining up with FC Halifax Town’s under-19s.

 

Whilst with the Shaymen he had loan spells with Colne and Frickley Athletic before being released at the end of the 2017/18 season and joining Ossett.
