Meadows won Forest’s apprentice of the year award in 2010/11.

And whilst on the books at the City Ground, he spent the latter part of the 2011/12 season on loan at Vanarama National League North side Alfreton Town.

After being released by Forest, he made the more permanent move to Alfreton in July 2012 and scored 10 goals in 94 games for the Reds.

The 29-year-old then switched to league rivals Boston United in July 2014.

The Newark-based player transferred to Grantham Town in October 2014 and spent just under four years with the Gingerbreads.

The last few seasons has seen Meadows turning out for Newark Flowserve, now known as Newark & Sherwood United.
