The Nottingham-born 23-year-old made 16 appearances at The Walks after joining exactly a year ago from then-National League rivals Eastleigh.

Bird signed for Notts County from Dunkirk in the summer of 2017 and made his debut in the EFL Trophy that November.

The centre-half, who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and has an excellent range of passing, earned his first Football League start for the Magpies in December 2018 following a loan at Grantham Town.

He has also had temporary spells with Leek Town and Alfreton Town and has represented Northern Ireland's under-21s.
