The 25-year-old played 27 times for the Magpies during the 2021/22 season before departing York Road at the end of his contract.

Sheckleford had been with Maidenhead since August 2018 after having a year out of football.

He started his career at Fulham and worked his way up through the ranks at Craven Cottage, appearing in the 2014 FA Youth Cup final and captaining the under-18s the following season.

He gained senior experience with a loan spell at Wealdstone during the 2016/17 season.
