Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Metropolitan Police have won the race for prolific striker Tom Read.

The 28-year-old Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division side Balham FC.

 

He enjoyed a particularly prolific 2021/22 campaign for Balham, netting 41 goals in 45 appearances.

 

He had been a loyal servant to the club after returning from a spell in the United States at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee.

 

There he turned out for Carson-Newman Eagles having been at Loughborough University before that.
