Femi
Akinwande and Emmanuel Maja have both moved to Longmead.
Akinwande (pictured) is a 26-year-old striker who moves to Angels from former league rivals
Billericay Town.
He
had re-joined Billericay in December 2021 from Braintree Town where he had
returned to in June 2021 from SkyBet League Two Stevenage.
He
had signed for Boro in June 2020 from Billericay, who he originally joined in
November 2019 after signing from Braintree, having moved to the Iron in August
2019 from Concord Rangers.
He
spent nine years with the Millwall academy before joining Dartford in 2013.
After
having trials for Brentford and Crystal Palace, he signed for Fisher in January
2015.
He
then moved to Maldon & Tiptree for the 2015/16 season, and after 12 goals
in 18 appearances, he joined Colchester United's academy on a development
contract until the end of the season.
He
made his League debut in March 2016 and later joined Bishop's Stortford, made a
return to Maldon & Tiptree, and played for East Thurrock United on loan in
the 2016/17 season.
He
was released by Colchester in May 2017 and returned to East Thurrock before
moving on to the Beachboys.
Maja
is a Nigerian-born midfielder who turns 22 today.
He
joins Angels from Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division side Enfield
Town.
He
had moved to Town in July 2021 from Tonbridge’s league rivals Welling United.
He
had signed for the Wings in September 2020 from Southern Counties East League
Premier Division side Lordswood.
He
previously played in the SCEL two seasons earlier for Croydon and went on trial
with Premier League giants Manchester City in 2018.
He
also had a spell with the now defunct Whyteleafe. |
