The
23-year-old made a single appearance for the Mariners at the start of the
2018/19 campaign whilst on loan from Southport.
The
towering defender signed for then-Vanarama National League North side Guiseley
AFC in August 2021.
He
had joined the Mariners` league rivals Colne on a permanent basis in July 2019
and then moved to NPL Premier side Hyde United in September 2020.
He
spent the end of the 2018/19 season on loan with the Reds from National League
North side Southport.
Liverpool-born,
he spent time at Liverpool and Everton as well as at Stoke City and Rochdale.
After
joining Port in July 2018, he was sent out on loan to Marine for the first part
of the season and then out to Droylsden and Colne.
Mariners`
boss Neil Young told his club’s website: “We have been looking to add another
centre-back to the squad with size, which Andy has.
"He
has continually improved and developed over the last couple of years and had a
season in the National League North. I’m really looking forward to working with
him”.
