Quansah
was the supporters` player for the season for 2021/22 at Pitching In Northern
Premier League Premier Division side Stalybridge Celtic where he had a full
season, making 48 appearances and scoring twice.
The
25-year-old had been at Bower Fold since June 2021.
He
had re-joined NPL Division One West side Glossop North End in November 2019
from rials Widnes.
He
had only moved to Widnes in the summer after being the 2018/19 managers` player
of the season for the Hillmen.
He
made 11 appearances for Widnes – the last of which saw him unfortunately net an
own goal in an extraordinary 6-5 defeat by NPL Premier Division side Nantwich
Town in the Integro League Cup on November 19th! He started his career with
Accrington Stanley but was released at the end of the 2015/16 season and spent
six months or so with Burscough before joining Mossley AFC in January 2017.
In
the summer of 2018, he moved across Tameside to join Hyde United before
re-joining the Lilywhites the following October.
He
originally joined Glossop in November 2018.
Southport

some time. He is a tall lad, very athletic, great in the air but can also pass
the ball around. He can play in a few different positions and is a player I am
