Promotion Winner Moves to Buxton
Vanarama National League North newcomers Buxton have signed Jack McKay, who helped York City to win promotion from that division in 2021/22.

The 25-year-old had joined then Minstermen in December 2021 from then-National League North rivals Curzon Ashton.

 

He had signed for the Nash in the summer of 2021 from National League Chesterfield, who he had signed for on a permanent basis in July 2019 from Cardiff City after being on loan with the Spireites from February 2019 until the end of the 2018/19 season.

 

He started his career at Doncaster Rovers. After making a handful of appearances for the South Yorkshire club, he joined Leeds United.

 

While at Leeds, he had a spell on loan at Scottish side Airdrie before moving to Cardiff in 2018 following an extended trial.
