The
25-year-old returns to Colls from NPL Division One West side Colne, who he
joined in the summer of 2021 from Trafford.
He
started his career at Stockport County in 2012. His talent was spotted by Stoke
City, and he switched to the Potteries.
In
2016 after signing first-team terms but not making a senior appearance, he
joined Tamworth on loan, then Fleetwood Town permanently, making his debut against
Carlisle United in the EFL Trophy.
He
joined Stalybridge Celtic in August 2017 and was almost ever-present in the
2017/18 season, missing just two matches, before heading to the US with New
Orleans Jesters.
He
started the 2018/19 season at Mickleover Sports before switching to Buxton and
then to Atherton Collieries in December 2018, helping them to win the Northern
Premier Division One West title.
Transferred
to Trafford in October 2019.
Colls`
manager Brad Cooke told: “Oli is someone I have admired for a while. I kept
track of him after he left Colls originally to join Trafford and Colne, and he
has excelled. Oli has really matured as a player and is a fantastic footballer
too.”
“We
spoke a while ago, and it was a pretty easy conversation for both of us with
regards to him signing. He adds loads of quality in the middle of the park,
it’s a very good signing for the football club!” |
