Striker Brett Agnew (pictured) joins the Brewers from league rivals Bridlington Town.

The 33-year-old has most recently enjoyed a player-manager role at the Seasiders - a tenure which lasted over three years.

He is a prolific goalscorer who returned to Brid in 2018 as coach after a short spell at North Ferriby was ended after a serious knee injury.

The Scotsman`s previous clubs also include West Calder United, Rutherglen, Glencairn and Hull United.

He played 128 times for Bridlington, scoring 73 goals.

Joining him at Ings Lane is defender Jack Johnson who has signed from another league rival, Pickering Town.

The 23-year-old who can play anywhere across the back four or in midfield, had signed for the Pikes in August 2020 from rivals Worksop Town, where he had only been for a month after signing from NPL Premier side Scarborough Athletic, where he had been since arriving from FC Halifax Town in August 2017.

He captained Halifax in the FA Youth Cup and was involved in several first-team outings.

He made the right-back position his own at Boro in 2017/18.

Four years after leaving the club, Tadcaster welcome back former defender Josh Grant from another rival, Brighouse Town.

The 30-year-old previously played for the Brewers following their promotion from the Toolstation Northern Counties East League in 2015.

Like Jack Johnson, Grant links back up with John Deacey, with the pair spending time together at Farsley Celtic.

Central midfielder Cody Cromack has also joined Taddy.

The 24-year-old makes the move north from yet another rival, Worksop Town.

He has also played for Liversedge and Pontefract Collieries, playing a role in their back-to-back promotions to the Northern Premier League.

Defender Nathan Dyer has also completed a move to Tadcaster.

The 21-year-old is a former York City scholar who made his first-team debut for the National League side in the FA Cup against St Ives Town in October 2018.

Born in Malton, he can play right-back or in central midfield and had been appointed captain of City's youth team at the start of the 2018/19 season.

He signed his first professional contract with the Minstermen in February 2019.

He was released at the end of the 2019/20 season and signed for Grantham Town in August 2020.

He moved to then-NPL Premier rivals Whitby Town in August 2021.
