Howells Coup for Berko
Former Luton Town favourite Jake Howells has put pen-to-paper for Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Berkhamsted ahead of the new campaign.

The experienced 31-year-old, born in St Albans, joins from Southern Premier Division Central side Kings Langley, where he had been since this time last year after arriving from Vanarama National League South neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town.

 

Equally at home as a midfielder or as a defender, Howells had signed for the Tudors in May 2019.

 

He spent the 2018/19 season at Billericay Town before moving to Vauxhall Road.

 

His previous clubs include Dagenham & Redbridge, Eastleigh and Luton, for whom he made in excess of 300 appearances and scored 29 goals between 2007 and 2016.

 

He has also had loan spells with Yeovil Town and Ebbsfleet United.

 

He has been capped 5 times by Wales at under-21 level and 4 times by England C.
