The league will operate with four divisions as, with the addition of a number of new teams, Division One has been split into north and south sections.
The Black Dragon Badges North division shows little change. Last season’s champions Harworth Colliery have been promoted to the Northern Counties East League while Retford United make the reverse journey to play in the CML for the first time since 2004.
The other changes see Lincoln Moorlands Railway returned to the Lincolnshire League while Welbeck Lions move across to the South division.
The South division loses champions Eastwood Community and runners-up Sherwood Colliery to the East Midlands Counties League while Aslockton & Orston have been moved to the Notts Senior League and Keyworth United have also departed.
Along with Welbeck the division gains Ashland Rovers, promoted from the Notts Senior League and Underwood Villa transferred from the same competition.
Division One North sponsored by Macron Store Stoke has nine teams new to the league among its thirteen members.
Epworth Town Colts and Crowle Town Colts join from the Scunthorpe and District League while Sutton Rovers move from the Doncaster Senior League and Welbeck Lions Reserves join their first team having played in Notts Senior League.
Shirebrook Rangers move from the Midland Regional Alliance There are new reserve outfits from Alfreton Town, AFC Bentley and Worksop Town, while Nottingham FC have moved up from junior football joining Harworth, Hucknall, Linby and Retford United who competed last season.
Division One South welcomes Chesterfield Town, Wirksworth Ivanhoe and Rowsley 86 from the Midland Regional Alliance and Bakewell Town from the Hope Valley league plus Long Eaton United’s newly-formed community side.
They combine with seven remaining members of last season’s division.
Last year’s champions, Eastwood Community Reserves have been promoted to the Notts Senior League, Radford Reserves have also moved to the NSL while Mickleover RBL reserves have folded. |
