Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division club Northwood have announced a handful of new signings.

Striker Lindell Stewart (pictured) joins Wood from Combined Counties League Premier Division side Windsor.

 

The 20-year-old signed for Windsor on the summer of 2021 and scored 16 goals in 30 games.

 

He was previously with Windsor’s league rivals Harefield United, having started out with new Southern League Division One Central outfit Hanwell Town.

 

Northwood have also brought back midfielder David Taylor for a second spell at Chestnut Avenue.

 

The 28-year-old is now fit again after being out injured for most of the past two seasons.

 

He joined Southern League Premier Division South side Harrow Borough in August 2020 from then-Isthmian South Central side Hanwell Town.

 

He signed for Hanwell after enjoying a wonderful 2018/19 season with Chertsey Town who won both the Combined Counties League and also the FA Vase at Wembley.

 

He scored one of the deciding penalties in their win over Northwich Victoria in the Vase semi-final.

 

Prior to joining Chertsey, he played for Harrow for four seasons as well as Woods before moving to Australia for a year, where he featured in a league winning side.

 

Also joining Woods is youngster Ronan Hutchins.

 

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder scored 8 goals in 21 games for Tring Athletic last season where he was on loan from Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.

 

Hutchins came through the ranks at Premier League Brentford and signed for the Beavers in the summer of 2021 after impressing during pre-season and has previously had loan spells with Westfield, Hendon and Harefield United.

 

As well as football, Hutchins has experience playing Gaelic Football where he has represented London.

 

Albanian-born midfielder Ergys Pepaj has also moved to Woods.

 

Pepaj, who can also play in defence, joins from Isthmian Premier Division side Potters Bar Town.

 

He had signed for the Scholars from National League South side Braintree Town in the summer of 2021.

 

He originally came through the F2 Academy.
