Re-joining
for a second spell with Long Eaton is the well-travelled attacking midfielder
Jermain Hollis.
The
now 35-year-old returns after being named as player of the year at United Counties
League Premier Division North side Eastwood Community last season.
A
Jamaican under-20 international, he last played for Long Eaton in 2014/15 and
has been a team-mate of current manager Ian Deakin at several clubs in the
past.
Nottingham-born,
he has had two spells with Eastwood Town, three with Rainworth Miners Welfare,
two with Hucknall Town and has also taken in stints at Kidderminster Harriers,
Gresley Rovers, Carlton Town, Shepshed Dynamo, Basford United, Belper Town,
Grantham Town, Coalville Town, Hednesford Town and Ilkeston Town.
Deakin
had earlier brought in centre-back Tyreese Robinson from new league rivals
Frickley Athletic.
The
22-year-old has gained a substantial amount of experience at a number of local
clubs, including Ilkeston Town and Gresley Rovers.
He
originally came to prominence at the Mickleover Sports academy when the club
had high hopes for his future after he captured the attention of a number of
league clubs.
A
tall, athletic and pacey player, he signed for Belper Town in 2020 and then to Frickley
in September 2021.
