Relegated
from the Pitching In Isthmian League South East at the end of last season, new
manager Richard Styles has brought in a whole host of players.
Danny
Keyte returns to the Oystermen for a second spell.
Strong
in both central midfield and central defence, he left Whitstable for Canterbury
City where he was club captain for a number of seasons before spending half of
last season at Tunbridge Wells.
He
has played over 300 games throughout his career and his consistency and
versatility have given him lots of experience in the game.
Fjord
Rogers is a young striker who spent the majority of last season with Cray
Wanderers in the Isthmian Premier Division where he got valuable minutes,
experience and goals before very short spells at Sevenoaks Town and Tunbridge
Wells, where he scored 9 goals in 10 appearances.
Freeman
Rogers is a defender who has over 300 games to his name in the Southern
Counties and Isthmian leagues.
A
natural leader, he spent last season at Sittingbourne and Sevenoaks Town before
finishing the last 10 games at Tunbridge Wells and has played for a host of
clubs as well as captaining many such as Chatham Town, Lordswood and Faversham
Town.
Another
defender, Tommy Penfold, was ever-present last season for Kennington and really
stood out and impressed the management team with his ability and leadership
shown on the pitch consistently.
He
was previously with K Sports and Bearsted.
Midfielder
Nico Cotton, 25, returns from former Isthmian South East rivals Hythe Town,
where he moved to in February 2022 from neighbours and rivals Ramsgate.
He
had joined the Rams in late October 2021 from Whitstable.
He
originally joined the Oysterboys in the summer of 2021 from Haywards Heath
Town.
He
moved to Heath after playing for Lewes, joining the Rooks after departing
Southend United in November 2018.
He
had already had two loan spells in non-League football at Lowestoft Town and
spent time at East Grinstead Town.
Another
returning Oysterman is Ryan Flack.
He
comes with a great pedigree and has had an excellent career to date, having
previously played with Cray Valley PM in their title-winning season and FA Vase
final success at Wembley.
He
has also played for Welling United, Tilbury, Chatham Town and Thamesmead Town.
James
Jeffrey is a well-known player across non-League football in Kent and has
played many games, scoring many in such a short space of time.
Still
only 21, his previous clubs are Margate, Chatham Town, Kennington and Sheppey
United.
Midfielder
Adam Turton (pictured) spent last season at Canterbury City and was a regular member of
their team.

feeds into the philosophy and make-up of the team.

previously captained at Canterbury and previously played for Ramsgate |
