King
steps up from his assistant manager role following Derek Hares's departure as
long-term boss last week.
An
announcement from the club reads: “We are delighted to announce that Steve King
has accepted the manager role.
“Dean
Hill will take up the assistant manager role and Rob Edwards will become first
team coach with Kieron Hollier remaining as goalkeeping coach.”
King
said: “I am delighted and proud to take on the role of manager at the club.
“There
has been a lot of work put in over the last seven years to move the club to the
position it is in today and I am really pleased to have the opportunity to
continue that work.
“Along
with the coaching team we will continue to do everything we can to help develop
the club and team further and hopefully bring further success.
“The
support has been phenomenal over the last couple of years with gates rising to
around 300 last year and we will need everyone to get behind us as we continue
this journey we are on”. |
