The 22-year-old joins `Marine from Mangotsfield United, who were relegated to the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division at the end of the 2021/22 season, where he had been since 2020.

He had signed for the Mangos from then-Southern Division One South rivals Larkhall Athletic.

He started out at National League South outfit Bath City’s academy and after joining the Larks in 2018, made over 30 first team appearances.

Manager Lee Spalding told his club’s website: “I have seen the ability that Wayne has shown in the friendlies so far and was happy to make him an offer which he accepted.

“He has shown the ability to be a valuable member of the first team squad here at Marine and will be pushing for a place in the starting eleven. He’s signing will add competition to the left-hand side of the team and I wish him all the best for the season ahead at Marine”.
