Gladiators` Striker Moves to Spireites

Vanarama National League club Chesterfield have signed exciting forward Jez Uchegbulam for an undisclosed fee from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Matlock Town.

He had joined the Gladiators in the summer of 2021 from NLP Division One West side Mossley AFC.

He had moved to the Lilywhites from North West Counties League side Stockport Town in the close season of 2018 and developed through the under-21s, making his first team debut in February 2019.

He made a total of 40 first team appearances for the Seel Park outfit, scoring 6 goals.

He has had trials with Sheffield Wednesday, Brentford, Salford City and Stockport County as a youngster.
