Stacey joins from Belper Town where he made a couple of appearances in the Nailers' play-off winning campaign last season, earning promotion to the NPL Premier Division.

A wing-back or wide midfielder, he signed for the Nailers towards the end of the 2021/22 season from Frickley Athletic, where he had been since June 2021.

He began his career with Rotherham United and had experience with Sheffield FC at under-21 and first team level.

He then embarked on a four-year spell in the USA in Virginia, where he studied and played football under a scholarship programme at Bluefield College.

Before returning to England, he spent almost three months playing for USL2 side Dalton Red Wolves in Tennessee.

Upon his return to England, he signed for Toolstation Northern Counties East Leaguers AFC Mansfield in October 2019 and then joined Vanarama National League North outfit Alfreton Town in October 2020.
