The 25-year-old from the Ivory Coast had joined Kingstonian in June 2019 and then switched to league rivals Bognor Regis Town the following October and made 50 appearances in 2021/22.

He had been on the books at Vanarama National League South side Dulwich Hamlet since 2018.

He spent part of the 2018/19 season on loan at Merstham before re-joining them on a permanent basis later that season and amongst his other previous clubs are Grays Athletic and North Greenford United.

Manager Andy Drury told https://www.margate-fc.co.uk: “I have watched Amadou very closely over the last few seasons, and for me he has been the best in the league while at Bognor. Myself and Danny Kedwell tried to get him in at Cray Wanderers last season but he we couldn’t make that happen, so I am pleased he has joined me at Hartsdown Park”.
