AFC Croydon 2-2 Deal Town - A point each for these two sides as the hosts scored first and last at the Mayfield Stadium - Mick Mackangou opened the scoring from the spot in the 23rd minute before Steve O'Brien equalised directly from a free-kick three minutes later. The visitors then went ahead before the break after a cool finish from Sam Wilson. The Rams had a chance to get back on level terms just after the restart but this time Mackangou saw his spot-kick saved. Substitution prevented him taking his third penalty of the game when AFC Croydon were handed one with ten minutes to go so it was Nahum Green that stepped up, scored, and earned a point for his side. Deal now look ahead to welcoming Hollands & Blair on Tuesday night whilst The Rams will host Cray Valley on that same evening.

Bearsted 2-3 Beckenham Town - A late winner gives title favourites Beckenham all three points - With just six minutes on the clock the visitors had taken the lead, through Stefan Wright, before quickfire finishes from David Baranowski and Con Scarlat handed the advantage over to Bearsted. Just before the break Richard Atkins began his charge towards retaining the Golden Boot when equalising from the penalty spot. Just as it looked like the would end level Jamie Humphris scored a last minute winner and Beckenham were able to take all three points home with them.

Canterbury City 5-2 Rusthall - In a seven goal thriller it was Canterbury that came out on top - It took until the 26th minute before we saw the first goal of the game, through Rob Lawrence for the hosts, but that got things going and shortly later that lead was doubled. A Dave Pilcher corner was headed back across the box to Liam Quinn who nodded home. Just before the break Rusthall were back in it thanks to Joe Fuller, 2-1. After the restart Canterbury extended their lead when Pilcher scored from the spot after James Turner was fouled. 3-1 became 4-1 when Jordan Casey redirected an Adam Woollcott volley into the back of the net with 15 left on the clock. There was a goal apiece in added-on time as a deflected effort from City's Josh Froggatt added to the Canterbury tally before a consolation goal from Ed Sherman.

Corinthian 1-4 Chatham Town - Chatham show intent with impressive away win - The visitors won this one in the first half when a Tom Fitzgerald opener and a brace from Paul Vines gave them a 3-0 lead at the break. Substitute Steven Ita pulled one back just after the restart but when Jason Thompson scored shorlty after this game was over. Chatham will next up host Canterbury City on Tuesday while on the same night Corinthian will make the trip to Tunbridge Wells.

Croydon 1-2 Lordswood - Lordswood take the points in a tight game - The game came to life in the 13th minute when Joe Matthews smashed home a 20 yard volley on his debut for the visitors. The lead was doubled just before the break when a Ricky Grundy cross was deflected in by a Croydon defender. The Trams came straight back into the game in the second half when Levi Shango scored on 50 minutes but with no more scoring Lordswood took home the points. Manager Richard Styles was impressed with his teams performance on a tricky pitch. "Today must of been the worst pitch I've seen at this level for the opening game of a season ever at Croydon FC, but credit to the Lordswood boys who stuck to the game plan, delivered and we take the 3 points home. Onto the next one now." That next one will be against Sheppey United at Martyn Grove on Wednesday.

Glebe 3-1 Tunbridge Wells - Glebe too strong for Wells at Foxbury - Stephen Smith was the big difference between these two sides and it was the prolific striker that scored the only goal of the first half when he raced on to a ball over the top and from a tight angle fired into the bottom corner. The hosts dominated possession for most of the game but left it late to wrap the game up. Once again it was that man Smith with the goal as with 10 minutes to go he beat the keeper to the ball down by the corner flag before cutting back in and showing great composure to beat the two defenders on the line. Unfortunately for him he was substituted just before Glebe were given a last minute penalty and that left Sam Edwards with the job of dispatching it, which he coolly did. A consolation goal did come from the boot of Josh Biddlecombe but was too little too late to affect the outcome of the match.

Hollands & Blair 1-0 Fisher - Blair take victory with the only goal of the game - In a game of few chances it was Jason Fregene's goal on 68 minutes that gave the hosts the victory and got them off to a great start to the Season. Last year they did not get their first victory until after Christmas but you can do no better than win on the opening day and that is exactly what they have done against Fisher.

K Sports 4-2 Erith Town - K Sports begin their Premier life with a victory - Despite now playing a level higher than last term the hosts have stuck with most of the squad that have got them here and it was two of the strikers that fired the goals in the First Division that fired them in again today. Matt Gething got the first on 22 minutes before James Alderman doubled the lead just before the break. In the second half Ralique Lawrence pulled one back before both Alderman and Gething scored again. Aaron Jeffrey grabbed a second for Erith in the last minute but it was not enough to stop the hosts getting an impressive win. The Dockers get the chance to redeem themselves on Monday against Glebe before both these sides turn their attention to the FA Cup next weekend.

Sheppey United 5-0 Crowborough Ath - Business as usual for Bradshaw as Sheppey go top - Sheppey meant business today and Crowborough could not live with them as the hosts raced in to a 3-0 half time lead. Dan Bradshaw scored twice with Remell Davis getting the other as this game was as good as over after 45 minutes. Bradshaw wrapped up his hat-trick from the spot just after the re-start before Davis completed his brace before the hour mark. The unrecognizable Crows will next face Rusthall on Tuesday night with Sheppey visiting Lordswood 24 hours later.
