Kane
Lewis, Lewis Lembikisa, Owen Sheriff, Enoch Andoh (pictured) and Myles Cowling have all
checked into Westwood Road.
Lewis
is a 24-year-old right back who started his career with Premier League
Brentford before moving to Liverpool, where he signed a professional contract
before being released by the Reds in 2018.
He
then moved to JD Cymru Premier side The New Saints where he played in the
Champions League qualifiers.
He
then switched to fellow Welsh side Cefn Druids before impressing in pre-season
for St Ives ahead of the current campaign.
Lembikisa
is a striker or wide player who was originally on the books at Premier League
Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He
spent last season playing for Ebac Northern League Second Division side
Chester-Le-Street United.
He
has also played for Harlow Town.
Sheriff
is a centre-back who signs for the Ives from Vanarama National League North
side Boston United.
He
progressed to the Pilgrims first team squad from the under-19s last season and also
made a handful of appearances on loan for Lincoln United in the Northern
Premier League Division One East.
Andoh,
29, is a wide player who joins from league rivals Stratford Town.
He
had joined the Bards in September 2020 from another league rival, Nuneaton
Borough.
He
had returned to Boro in January 2020 from Hednesford Town, where he moved to in
September 2019.
The
Ghanaian started his career in his homeland and then signed for Portuguese
giants FC Porto where he played in the under-19 side.
A
move to Cypriot First Division side AEL Limassol followed, making 37
appearances before signing an 18-month contract at Port Vale.
After
a great start at Vale Park, attracting the attention of Tottenham Hotspur, he
suffered a season-ending injury.
After
re-starting his career with Whitehawk, he went onto represent Nuneaton and
Macclesfield Town, who he left at the end of the 2018/19 season.
Cowling,
19, is a central midfielder who joins Ives on a season long loan from League
One side Cambridge United.
He
signed a professional contract in July this year and spent last season on loan
with St Neots Town, then in the Southern Division One Central, making 33
appearances.
