Maroodza plays in a left-back role, which will add strength in depth across Avenue’s defence.

Hailing from Northampton, Maroodza initially signed for Huddersfield in 2020 as a free agent after leaving Premier League Leicester City’s academy.

He signed a two-and-half-year contract which will expire in June 2024, and he was sent out to Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side Ossett United last season on `work experience`.
