Vanarama National League North club AFC Telford United have announced the signing of young prospect Josh Waite.

The 18-year-old forward joins the Bucks on a one-year deal from SkyBet Championship side Stoke City following a successful trial period with the club.

He joins the Bucks as promising youngster with the idea of developing his potential over the future.

The young forward started his career with Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central outfit Rushall Olympic and signed for Stoke in 2020.

Waite who has recently been training with Blackpool and Coventry City had multiple offers to join EFL clubs but feels Telford is the right move for him in his career.
