Goalkeeper
Alfie Marriott (pictured) returns on `work experience` having made 32 appearances for
Kings in 2021/22 after joining at the beginning of the campaign from then-Premier League neighbours Watford.
He
played a key role in the club’s successful battle against relegation, making a
vital penalty save on the final day of the season to help the Kings escape the
drop from the Premier Division South.
The
18-year-old born
in Watford, joined the Hornets in 2012.
He
is now part of the under-23 squad, having been offered a third-year scholarship
at the end of an impressive 2021/22 season.
Also
returning to Kings is forward Ben De Lacy-Turner, who made 4 appearances and
scored one goal last season.
The
20-year-old joins on loan from Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town.
De
Lacy-Turner featured for the Shots first-team this pre-season and is an
energetic and hard-working forward who loves to run at defenders and in 22
games last season for the under-21s, had a combined 21 goals and assists.
He
was previously with Potters Bar Town. |
