Nelson Impresses Against The Pitmen to Earn a Deal
Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Hednesford Town have announced that Mikey Nelson has agreed a deal at Keys Park following a short trial period.

Nelson, who plays in the forward positions, impressed the management team during a friendly against Total Motion Midland League side AFC Wulfrunians where he scored the second goal to put his then side 2-0 up.

 

After this game, contact was made with Nelson, who had also scored against Stourbridge for the Wulfs, to invite him for a trial.

 

The lively former Sporting Khalsa and Bilston Town frontman has impressed enough to earn a deal at Keys Park and will now be part of the first-team squad going into the new season.
