The 25-year-old had only moved to the Reds in May 2022 from Avenue.

He had originally joined Avenue in the summer of 2019 from Northern Counties East League outfit Hemsworth Miners Welfare, where he notched 40 goals with 34 assists in two seasons.

Previously with Frickley Athletic and Ossett Albion, he started his Avenue career strongly with 3 goals from 5 starts, with a further 9 appearances from the bench.

Unfortunately, as the club stabilised, there was a change in working circumstances that meant it would be difficult for him to play and train with Avenue.

He went on loan to Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side Pontefract Collieries for what remained of the 2019/20 season, which brought another 3 goals in 16 games.

I know it was a very difficult decision for him to leave in the summer and look to try something different. That has not worked out as he expected, so we have taken the opportunity to get him back with us where he has thrived and enjoyed his football in recent seasons. Brad is a player who needs to be playing week in, week out to get the best out of so we will get him up to speed and hope he can provide that missing ingredient we need to turn these tight games in our favour”.
