The 22-year-old left-sided player signed for Shields in the summer of 2021 after leaving boyhood side Cardiff City.

He captained the Bluebirds at several age groups, including the under-23s, and has been capped by Wales at junior level.

He previously enjoyed loan spells with JD Cymru Premier side The New Saints and National League North outfit Hereford.

Spartans boss Graham Fenton, who managed Bodenham at South Shields, told http://www.blythspartans.com: “I’m really happy to bring Jack in for a month’s loan, it gives us cover, so it’s fallen nicely into our hands, and we are delighted to have him at the football club. It’s always easier when you already know a player, he knows how I work and I know about his qualities as a player, so hopefully this will be a successful loan spell.”

Main, 25, had joined Shields in October 2021 from league rivals FC United of Manchester.

He had arrived at the Reds in January 2021 from Spanish fourth tier side Almagro CF.

He holds Surinam and Dutch citizenship and started his career in Holland with KFC Koog aan de Zaan Jeugd before stepping up to sign for FC Groningen in the summer of 2015.

A move to Ajax Amateurs followed in July 2017 before he moved to Spain to join third tier side CF La Nucia.

He moved to Almagro in July 2020.

Fenton added: “I brought Cedric to South Shields a year ago, he had an injury that set him back, he had his rehab and now he’s raring to go again.

We had strong competition from other clubs so we are delighted to be able to bring him into Blyth Spartans, he’s a really powerful, strong, quick forward who’s excellent at linking play and he possesses a goal threat too, so he will definitely add competition to places in the forward line”.
