Both
parties agreed following the Gainsborough Trinity defeat that a fresh voice and
perspective was needed in the changing rooms going forwards.
Nathan
Haslam will take sole charge of first-team proceedings on Saturday when Marske
United visit the Towbar Express Stadium at the Turnbull Ground in the Emirates
FA Cup.
Bullock
joined the club as a player in August 2013, signing under then-manager Darren
Williams.
He
was appointed as the club’s assistant manager in November 2015, following Chris
Hardy’s appointment, before taking the managerial role alongside Nathan Haslam
in September 2020.
In
total, he made 132 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals, his last playing
appearance coming in the 1-0 defeat to Stafford Rangers last month.
The
club would like to place on record its thanks to Bullock for his outstanding
contribution on both the playing and management side over the last nine years.
It
has been agreed that Bullock will stay on in his off-field role as commercial manager
at the Towbar Express Stadium at the Turnbull Ground but will not be involved
in any football or training matters.
