Patrick
moved to City in January from Basford’s league rivals St Ives Town.
He
made 23 appearances for Brechin, netting his only goal against Deveronvale last
month.
Patrick
leaves for personal reasons and a wish to return nearer home with Brechin
sitting top of the Highland league with a 100% record after 7 games.
The
22-year-old had been with St Ives since August 2020 after arriving from another
rival, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, where he had been since November 2019.
He
started his career in England with Northampton Town and then moved to Germany
in July 2018 to Germania Schwanheim, where he featured for the under-19s.
In
early November 2018, he moved to another German side, VfB Lubeck where he also
played in the under-19s.
He
made his senior debut in January 2019 and made regular appearances for the
side, scoring 2 goals and making three assists along the way.
He
represented Team Zimbabwe-UK under-17s in England and helped them to win the UK
AFCON tournament.
Then
in March 2019 he appeared in back-to-back under-23 Afcon Qualifiers against
Mozambique for Zimbabwe`s national side and helped them to a 2-0 aggregate win.
