<1r><d>The 55-year-old moves to the New Bucks Head after somewhat surprisingly leaving league rivals Brackley Town after a successful seven years in charge at St James’s Park.

After managing Nuneaton Borough from 2006 until 2014, he moved to Brackley after a year with Wrexham, and led them to regular play-off finishes, play-off finalists last season, winning the Buildbase FA Trophy in 2018 and twice to the Emirates FA Cup Second Round proper.

Before that at Wrexham he also took them to the FA Trophy Final and the Third Round of the FA Cup and took Nuneaton to three promotions and a number of FA Cup runs to the First Round proper.

Wilkin will be joined at the New Bucks Head by Mark Noon and David Staff, who were both with him at Brackley.
