Poppies Bring in New Striker
Vanarama National League North strugglers Kettering Town have signed striker Tyrone Lewthwaite from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central side Bedford Town.

The 21-year-old had signed for the Eagles in June from Southern League Division One Central side Aylesbury United.

 

He had been with the Ducks since February 2022 after arriving from Southern Premier Division South outfit Beaconsfield Town.

 

He had signed for the Rams in the summer of 2021 from league rivals Chesham United, having been with the Generals since October 2020 after arriving from National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he had been since July 2019.

 

A Northern Ireland under-19 international who qualified through his mother’s family, he was with Rotherham United until June 2019, after starting life with Championship side Watford, leaving the Vicarage Road set up in 2017.
